De Queen Elementary recently received the Arkansas Sheriff's Association Red Ribbon Grant to purchase items for Red Ribbon Week. Thank you, Arkansas Sheriff's Association! Red Ribbon Week is a national event that encourages students to be drug free. This year's theme is "Be kind to your mind. Live drug free." De Queen Public Schools will observe Red Ribbon Week October 23 - 27. Tuesday, October 24 is Wear Red Day to celebrate making healthy choices.
