Bell to Bell, No Cell Graphic

Arkansas Act 122 – “Bell to Bell, No Cell Act”
Effective: 2025–2026 School Year

Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, Arkansas Act 122 (also known as the “Bell to Bell, No Cell Act”) requires all public school districts to prohibit student use of personal electronic devices during the instructional day.

This new law aims to reduce distractions and support student learning across the state.

All De Queen School District campuses will comply with Act 122. While individual school procedures may vary slightly, the law requires students to have cell phones and similar devices turned off and put away from the first bell to the last bell.
