
De Queen Public Schools will be accepting referrals for the Gifted and Talented program until Friday, Nov. 17th, 2023. Students in 3rd-12th grade may be referred. Mrs. Frachiseur's class has been working soooo hard and have achieved sooo much! Macelynn, Christain, Kenzie, Avery, Pablo, Derry, and Indy have achieved 100% fluency in math in Addition and Subtraction or Multiplication and Division or both! Congratulations to each of those students.








The DES 5th grade music program, "America", is scheduled for November 9th. The two performances will be at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm in the DHS auditorium.


Michael Kaious in Mrs. Feemster’s home room has not only met his AR goal for the 2nd 9 weeks, but he has also reached 75 points for the school year. He is the first 5th grader to meet this 75 point goal. Great Job Michael! #DESproud

The 4th grade music program, "Lewis and Clark", will be held on Nov. 3rd. at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. in the High School Auditorium.


3rd graders, Marley Rivas and Idalie Hernandez, in Mrs. Gilbert's class, reached 100% fluency in Reflex addition and subtraction for the first 9 weeks. WAY TO GO, GIRLS!!!


We will be having a Food Drive November 1st-17th. The food will go directly to our food pantry at the elementary school. The grade (3rd, 4th, 5th) collecting the most points by the 17th will be given a popsicle party and an extra recess. Buggies to collect food will be in the hallway starting Wednesday. Be sure to put the food items in the appropriate buggy.
