DHS Announces Homecoming Court and Festivities

The De Queen High School Student Council is excited to announce Lorel Morphew as the 2022 DHS Homecoming Queen and 11 DHS homecoming maids. The De Queen Leopards Football team will play their homecoming game against the Hot Springs Trojans on October 7, 2022. Homecoming festivities will kick off with spirit week beginning on October 3rd and going through October 7. Spirit days include Pajama Day Monday (dress in your favorite pair of pajamas), Mix-match Tuesday (dress in clothes that do not match),  Western Wednesday (dress in cowboy or western clothing), Color Wars Thursday (Dress in your designated class color for color wars day. Red: 1st, 4th, 7th, 9th, Juniors; Blue: 2nd, 5th, Seniors; Pink: kindergarten, 3rd, 6th, 8th, Sophomores). Leopard Pride Friday (dress in black and gold for the Leopards). The school dress code will apply to spirit week. 

The homecoming festivities will begin at 1:45 PM with a downtown parade around the square with the parade continuing down School Drive at 2:15 PM for Kindergarten through 12th grade. The afternoon coronation ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM at the DHS Coliseum followed by a pep rally. The evening ceremony will begin at 6:30 at Leopard Stadium before the Leopards vs. Trojan game starts at 7 p.m.
