Gifted and Talented
I graduate from Sparkman High School in 2001. Shortly after graduating, I started attending Henderson State University for three years. After a short break, I attending and completed my bachelor's degree at Arkansas Tech University. In 2010, I graduate with a bachelor’s in Elementary Education. In 2014, I started working on my master’s degree at Arkansas State University. In 2015, I graduated with my master’s degree in Gifted, Talented, and Creativity.

I started teaching at De Queen in 2017. I am the district Gifted and Talented Coordinator/Teacher.
I taught five years at Lamar School District in Lamar, AR. For two years, I taught third grade. For the last three years, I was the district Gifted and Talented Coordinator/Teacher.
I am happily married to my husband Jerry Minchew. We have been married for 15 years. We were so excited to welcome our baby boy Ki Minchew in Nov. 2018.
I enjoy cooking, singing, and being around my family and friends.
